Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg's Annual Call Now Open for Applications until 15 July

Dear Melissa Sollich,

the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (Institute for Advanced Study) (HWK) has published its Annual Call for Applications. The call is open until 15 July, 12 PM CEST.

The HWK invites highly qualified scientists at all career stages from postdoc to senior level to apply for its fellowships in Germany. Applicants may work in a broad array of disciplines and on interdisciplinary projects and apply from anywhere in the world (except Northwest Germany). Fellowships of different categories from 3 to 10 months are available. Residency at the Wissenschaftskolleg is mandatory.

Applications are selected based on the following criteria:

  • the candidate’s academic qualification,
  • the quality and the innovative character of the candidate’s proposed research project,
  • the candidate’s willingness to contribute to and to profit from a highly interdisciplinary fellowship community,
  • the fit of the proposed project within the spectrum of research interests at the HWK.

The Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (Institute for Advanced Study) in Delmenhorst is a non-profit foundation founded by the states of Bremen and Lower Saxony and the city of Delmenhorst. It promotes excellent science and research by inviting scientists, artists and authors from all over the world for resident fellowships in Delmenhorst and by organizing academic events with a global reach. The HWK seeks to combine theoretical work with experimental research and artistic exploration in its five focus areas Brain, Earth, Energy and Society as well as Arts & Literature.
